Suicide Substance Abuse Violence Education

SSAVE is a Valley coalition aimed at preventing suicide. Professionals and teens from area youth coalitions make up the dynamic group. Groups members have received Yellow Ribbon and Assist training. Its newsletter--SSAVE--News--is now online. The next issue will highlight US--Understanding Suicide--the Monte Vista High School coalition. To work towards improving the quality of life for people of the San Luis Valley by providing community based support in suicide, substance abuse, and violence prevention.
